Important steps for a successful preservation process includes the following:

- Flowers should be received within 72 hours of the completion of your wedding day.
- Flowers must remain properly hydrated with fresh cuts of the stems and in a vase with clean water and flower food.
- Flowers must remain out of direct sunlight/heat and should NOT be placed in a household refrigeration or freezer due to potential damage.
- Your bouquet will be disassembled, and each flower will be treated and preserved based on their individual needs for best results.
- Following the preservation process, each bloom will be reassembled and then designed into your preference of style.
- You will have until the assembly process of your blooms to make the final choice of your framing type (background, dual glass, shadow box, etc.)

To hold the date and specified time on a definite basis, the signed agreement as well as your retainer of $100.00  (to be applied to your final balance) must be received within  48 Hours of This Form’s Submission and Acceptance. After this deadline, your tentative hold for Petal’s and Posies’ services as well as all holds on services will be released and the date will be made available to other clients. All date reservations are taken on a first come first served basis. Final cash or credit card payments are due upon pickup of your final keepsake. Credit cards will reflect Rocky Mountain Wildflowers/Petals and Posies on your statement. Any additional items added to your existing package not pre-paid prior to the wedding date are authorized to be charged to the credit card on file.  Final fees will be invoiced upon completion of your project and must be paid if full prior to delivery/shipping or pickup.

Any cancellation or change of original date, time or location other than that reflected in this agreement MUST be provided to Petals and Posies in writing with a valid signature. Any changes must be acknowledged by Petals and Posies in return to confirm and accept the cancellation or change. The above description of services and products outlines the details of what you can expect with the services you are committing to. Should you have a need to make changes to these services or items, change requests MUST be submitted in writing and accepted by Petals and Posies. Substitutions are allowed in most cases but must be confirmed with Petals and Posies with sufficient notice. Client changes including cancellation to these services will result in the forfeiture of the deposit portion applicable to each of the affected services. Should the event be canceled within 30 days of the date, the total amount is due in full.  Failure to pick up your final piece within 30 days results in payment in full being applied to the credit card on file, and forfeiture of the piece and acknowledgement by your signature below that it will be destroyed. In the case of circumstances out of our control such as extreme weather that causes hazardous travel conditions, severe temperatures, road closures, facility changes or other unforeseen issues, Petals and Posies reserves the right to suggest an alternative pickup/delivery location that is more accessible and conducive to the conditions. All shipping and handling fees are an extra charge and client is responsible for full payment.  It is the client’s responsibility to adhere to the date and time in this contract.

 

Petals and Posies has over 30 years of experience and takes every effort to preserve florals to their upmost highest potential. In some cases flowers may not perform well due to delay in receiving the bouquet or the condition of the flowers. We will substitute with fresher product to maintain the integrity of the design when necessary. Flowers are treated and preserved with the highest quality of product and care but need to be properly displayed out of direct light or any elements that can be damaging to the finished product. We are not responsible for keepsakes once they have left our possession. Shipping insurance is highly recommended to protect the flowers and framing during transport. Petals and Posies shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement if prevented from doing so by cause(s) beyond their control, specifically, act of nature, war, civil disorder, restraints of government, disaster, strikes/work stoppages, curtailment or interruption of transportation facilities and/or services, or any other cause(s) which could not have prevented or controlled with due diligence.

 

Any controversy or claim pertaining to the cancellation of this contract, which cannot be acceptably negotiated by both parties, shall be settled by arbitration or in the Larimer County Colorado court system. Judicial and/or arbitration proceedings by the arbitrator(s) or litigates of any dispute will be rendered in Larimer County, Colorado. Legal fees related to such litigations are the responsibility of the Client. Client Judgments may not exceed the original amount of services. Unless otherwise specified prior to an event, Lorie Cooper and Petals and Posies reserve the right to use any images, video or testimonials in any and all marketing and/or advertising.
 

Please review this agreement carefully prior to signing.  It constitutes a binding contract, and the specifications set forth shall be considered firm and definite.  If the signed contract and initial retainer is not received by the above date, we reserve the right to release the date and make it available for re-sale.
