Realistic Expectations of Preservation – Natural Aging

Flowers, once picked, have an extremely limited life expectancy. When arranged in a Bouquet or even displayed in water, flowers quickly deteriorate as their natural life ends.

The process of floral preservation requires flowers to be as fresh as possible which is why we request flowers to be delivered, picked up or shipped to us no later than 3 days after an event.

Flowers, being organic and delicate will change or vary in color and appearance during the preservation process. If blooms are older, bruised, wilted, or stressed, these issues can be reflected further in preservation.  Flowers will be behind glass with UV properties . This reduces and slows damage caused by UV light.

Preservation is a method of having a unique opportunity of keeping your flowers for years to come, but please be aware once framed or embedded flowers and foliage, being organic, will still age and mellow over time and go through changes. This is perfectly normal – after all flowers and foliage once cut only last a week or two! Please follow all care instructions provided with your artwork and enjoy your preserved flowers  for years to come!

The Process of Your Bouqet Preservation

1. Reserve Your Services and Select Your Design

As we are in high demand and have limited resources we highly recommend pre-reserving your services.

Last minute orders are accommodated when availability allows.

Booking Deposits are $100 and are Applied to Your Final Invoice.

2. Enjoy Your Wedding Day

Keep your bouquet hydrated as much as possible prior to your ceremony and photos, in-between and during your reception.

That evening it is best to give your blooms a fresh cut as ends of flowers dry when out of water for extended periods and won't allow for the flower to properly draw water.

3. Pickup, Delivery or Shipping

We are based in Northern Colorado and offer complimentary next day pickup of your bouquet to areas including Estes Park, Loveland, Fort Collins and Longmont.  You may hand deliver your bouquet to us if you are in the drivable area, or ship it to us within 72 hours of your wedding using our shipping instructions.

4. Timeline of Processing

Our general timeline for delivery of your finished product is 12-16 weeks.

Disassembly, Preparation and Preservation Process - 6-8 weeks

Color enhancement - 1 week

Assembly, Sealing and Design - 3 weeks

Packaging and Shipping - 1-2 weeks

5. Wait for your Art to Arrive

Your package will include instructions for displaying and protecting your arrangement from the elements to increase the longevity and integrity of your beloved piece of art!
