Our 3-Dimensional artwork is a created by using a technique of preserving each flower individual based on the proper technique necessary for each different bloom. It is ideal for bridal bouquets and other wearables, memorial/remembrance flowers or any special piece that you want to keep for years and years to come. We allow for the incorporation of other items used in the arrangement, such as pearls, berries, ribbons, and can incorporate other keepsakes such as charms, wedding invitations, cake toppers, the grooms tie, photographs and more.
Flowers preserved by this method are displayed in box/shadow frames or domes. This allows a constant depth in which to reconstruct the shape and structure of your original design.
Floral Preservation is a beautiful & unique art form, creating a stunning piece to cherish and treasure always. You will find, over the years, subtle color changes in your piece, which is quite normal, as your flowers will naturally age over time.
In the traditional art of flat flower preservation, pressed pictures are created by dismantling each flower and every individual petal, pressing, then carefully reconstructing to create a beautiful floral keepsake in a conventional flat frame.
Script, photographs, ribbons & some berries may be incorporated into your pressed design, however some items such as diamanté and crystals may not suitable, but instead would be perfect used within the 3-D preservation method.
Please note not all flowers are suitable for pressing, and like preserved flowers, will change in color, but can be enhanced to produce a beautiful picture.
Fresh flowers , when preserved, keep their original structure and form while being reduced in size due to the process, but their color will lighten, darken or vary in color tone due to the rapid extraction of moisture from each bloom.
Color correction is a new and innovative way to enhance the blooms. Our artists are able to color-match your flowers as close as possible to how they looked the day of your event. While our drying process does preserve some of the colors, it does not preserve all of the color nor does it correct any transparency or bruising the flowers may endure the day of the event or during shipment.
Some clients love to see the transparent spots because it shows where your florals were touched the day of the event. It tells a story of its own. While other clients care more about restoring the original color to their blooms. We want to cater to both preferences! .
Fresh flowers, once picked, have an extremely limited life expectancy. When arranged in a Bouquet or even displayed in water, flowers quickly deteriorate as their natural life ends.
The process of bridal bouquet preservation requires flowers to be as fresh as possible which is why we request flowers to be delivered, picked up or shipped to us no later than 2 days after an event.
Flowers, being organic and delicate will change or vary in color and appearance during the preservation process.
If blooms are older, bruised, wilted, or stressed, these issues can be reflected further in preservation.
Flowers will be behind glass with UV properties . This reduces and slows damage caused by UV light.
Preservation is a method of having a unique opportunity of keeping your flowers for years to come, but please be aware once framed or embedded flowers and foliage, being organic, will still age and mellow over time and go through changes. This is perfectly normal – after all flowers and foliage once cut only last a week or two! Please follow all care instructions provided with your artwork and I hope you will enjoy the meaning of your preserved flowers and the memories attached for years to come.
